I have grown up in a generation where reality is constantly mediated.
When you see the war on television, for example, you're not actually watching a war.
You're not seeing what happened, you're just seeing an effect it had, on film in camera. In every way that matters, it's not different to someone describing it to you afterwards...purely and simply, what you are seeing is hearsay.
Seems like this is the way life works from every angle.
